  Legoshop @ Bluewater

Do I remember rightly that there's a Lego shop in Bluewater? If so, is it any good? For instance, can one get service packs there (now that would be cool...) (22 years ago, 25-Jun-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: *TRU* - Snape's Class - 7.49

(...) The car is supposed to be a Ford Anglia (remember them?) and from the pic, it looks like a fair representation of this characterful car with it's innovative design features which never really caught on. Check out the inverse sloping rear (...) (22 years ago, 25-Jun-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: 7190 Millennium Falcon [wanted]

(...) On the subject of wants, does anyone have an unwanted 3x10x3 model team windscreen? Two would be even better. Steve (22 years ago, 25-Jun-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

"BLAKE'S 7 LEGO" Re: 7190 Millennium Falcon [wanted]

(...) Thanks, but I'm really hoping from a UK set. I got an e-mail reply to my post (but still no 7190-MF!), from a non-poster (Steven Locke) from the UK. He also mailed me a link to his "BLAKE'S 7 LEGO" site which I had not seen before. (URL) is (...) (22 years ago, 25-Jun-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: 7190 Millennium Falcon [wanted]

(...) They're available from S@H in the US. Do you have a US contact that can redirect one for you? (probably an expensive proposition at 2 x shipping + tax) -Rob. (22 years ago, 25-Jun-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  All Terrain Crane

I've completed the web page for my model of a Demag AC50-1 all terrain crane and put it online here: (URL) model is entirely radio controlled and features some new gadgets from John Barnes.   Re: *TRU* - Snape's Class - 7.49

TRU have the same sets at the same prices (i.e. half price). My daughter claims to have spotted a new HP set in Tesco (Dundee) - some sort of car. Are they in the shops already? Scott A (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jun-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Greetings

(...) Well I'm back occassionally now but I was very busy. Much more relaxed now that I've entered the illustrious world of academe... Not much Lego here 'though. Tim PS.   Re: Greetings

(...) This is certainly true for me. I find loc.au to be a more tolerant place than some other corners of LUGnet (anyone visited .direct recently!), and I think this is because I have physically met a lot of the loc.au regulars. I think that, having (...) (22 years ago, 19-Jun-02, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Greetings

(...) Mmmmm. I have noticed that we (Australians) tend more to keep to ourselves rather than fan out into the theme groups. Even those of us that start out mainly in theme groups tend to end up back chiefly in loc.au I guess a consequence would be a (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jun-02, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.loc.au)
