The car is supposed to be a Ford Anglia (remember them?) and from the pic,
it looks like a fair representation of this characterful car with it's
innovative design features which never really caught on. Check out the
inverse sloping rear window - was supposed to stay clear in the rain.

If you've read the second book, you'll know that Ron's Dad's Anglia was
rather special..yes, OK, it could fly, but DeLoreans can do that too. This
little car acted like a Tardis so there was more room inside than can be
accomodated within the external dimensions. How do LEGO do this?
