Re: Work in progress, an EMU

(...) Nice to see another EMU in Lego, Huw. I built an unpowered VEP/SEP unit in blue/grey about 20 years ago using a much cruder method, but I found that classic 2x2 windows worked best, partially hidden behind the 'pillars' of the vestibule ends.   Re: Work in progress, an EMU

(...) Well...? What's stopping you from making it 8 wide? :-) (...) It looks good to me. I'd like to see it with that snappy red and orange striping-- with the blue windows it would look tres cool!   Work in progress, an EMU

Please take a look at this work in progress, the front of an electric multiple unit, and let me know what you think.   Red Baron pricing

My wife just came back with a Red Baron from the Lego shop at Bluewater where it's only £30.00. If you order it online it's £34.99 plus £4.95 postage. Something is rotten in the website from Denmark. Nathaniel (23 years ago, 11-May-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Lego on Blue Peter

Is that true? I have a blue peter badge - hushed awe from fellow readers - that I won when I was 8; Blue Peter Competition Winner it says in large blue letters! I didn't think that people still got in free with these things... (23 years ago, 10-May-02, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.legoland.windsor)
