  The excitement is building...

Not long to go now! I'm just getting my exhibits ready for display at Jon's. I'll be bringing my ISCC entry, (URL) which thankfully is still working properly! Are we doing any sort of themed display? How about assembling all our Super Chiefs? -- I'm (...) (23 years ago, 31-Mar-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: 7740 Instructions

Wow! I can't believe how many people have sent me a mail already. I'm overwhelmed but very grateful! One of the guys who's replied actually has an original set for sale and I think he lives in the same German city that I do! If only real life were (...) (...) Welcome home, Andy! (...) I think there already is one. But I've xposted this to .loc.uk for them to weigh in on it. I do know there's at least one great LUG there--I attended a fest last year that was excellent and fun. (By the way, where's (...) (23 years ago, 29-Mar-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Are you going to tell them or am I?

(...) Indeed. The current issue has one kid displaying a collection of made up sets (including a Galaxy Explorer)... can't remember the name, but from the UK I think. Cheers Richie Dulin (23 years ago, 27-Mar-02, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.loc.au)

  Woolworth's prices go up?

Is it me or have Woolies raised the retail price of their Lego to match everyone else (EG TRU, Gamleys, etc)? Previously Lego seemed to be a little bit cheaper in Woolies than anywhere else.   Re: Are you going to tell them or am I?

(...) That's shocking. I'm speculating now, but I wonder how many pictures of kids with genuine LEGO COTS models actually get sent in to the magazine and get filtered out?
