Re: Harry Potter getting left out

(...) The trouble is that logic has nothing to do with it - all those Harry Potter objections are about some eejit getting the wrong end of the stick (deliberately or otherwise), making a lot of noise (empty vessel) with the inevitable consequence (...)   Re: toyworldstore stock shrinking

(...) I'm glad I stocked up on those when they were available, 8280 was a great parts set for 20 quid. Jennifer (23 years ago, 11-Sep-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: new MOC up on my site

(...) James, A nice house, and you have quite the collection of buildings and houses, enough for a small town if you have enough pieces. Thanks! George (23 years ago, 11-Sep-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.castle, lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: FOTW (ish)

(...) Just get a few pieces of wire, strip the ends, twist the cores and fold them back on themselves, then push them in the top holes of the motor (don't use the end holes, as the wire might go in too far). Push the other ends into the battery box. (...) (23 years ago, 11-Sep-01, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.technic)

  Re: FOTW (ish)

(...) Thanks Jason Unfortunately it didn't come with a lead. I have a couple of leads with a middle plastic pin but no motors to go with them and I have an old black motor but with no lead so I'm a bit stuffed for testing it. I guess it's 4.5v even (...)   Re: FOTW (ish)

(...) These are the original Technic motors, from the first motor sets in 1979. See <set:870>. Look closely at the wires, and you'll see they don't have the centre plastic pin you're used to. Personally, I had <set:880>, the black 12V motor, which I (...) (23 years ago, 11-Sep-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  FOTW (ish)

  Bob hits Bluewater

Or rather, Bob *hit* Bluewater. The Kentish Temple of Mammon's LEGO Shop had two (count'em) 3272 Scoops on Saturday afternoon. Apparently there had been a 'small delivery' during the week, but the next delivery date is unknown. I was told there's (...) (23 years ago, 10-Sep-01, to lugnet.duplo, lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Harry Potter getting left out

(...) In Texas we have "dry" and "wet" counties. You know when you've crossed from a dry county to a wet county because the liquor stores and, not uncommonly, the topless bars, crowd the county line. I'd wager that deaths from DWI's are higher in (...) (23 years ago, 10-Sep-01, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.castle, lugnet.off-topic.debate)
