Another UK Lego User Group Web Site

Give this a look and see what you think Temporary URL (URL) didn't call it UKLUG, as I dont have that URL. This one is fully functional, and a lot of functions it has too! You can view anything, but you need to create an account to post. It has 1. (...) (23 years ago, 1-Sep-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Looking for 2 recent McDonalds promo sets

Does anyone have spare unopened copies (for trade or sale) of 2729 and 2744 from the 1999 McDonalds promo in the UK? I have vgc duplicates of 2719 and 2728, plus 2742 and 2759 that are unopened but average (crinkly cellophane due rough handling). (...) (23 years ago, 28-Aug-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Haven't seen the number of UK source lego items on ebay this high before. 10 pages, 463 items. Notice that JH is largely to blame! Hope your leaving something to sell at the forthcoming TVLF Jon :-) regards lawrence (23 years ago, 27-Aug-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Even less Lego available online in the UK

Now Woolworths seem to have stopped offering Lego online. They have one remaining set listed at half price, the 8236 for £2.50 + £1.50 p&p. You may even be lucky enough to find them in your local store. May be useful for parts (green technic + (...) (23 years ago, 25-Aug-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Just received my 10016 Tanker and 10017 Hopper!!!

The tanker is 8-wide! Well, we knew that anyway: the tanks are 8-studs in diameter, but a bit short for the baseplate - they finish 2-3 studs before the end... Those weathered Octan signs seem to be an odd departure though! As is currently the norm, (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.trains)

  Re: International Society of Meccanomen

Wow, Mechano... Once upon a time (1976) my Erector collection (of course, shared with my older brother) was larger and more versatile than my little pile of red and white Lego.
