  Interesting article in new Adventurers magazine
 
Just for a change, there's something interesting in it. An article about desiging the Arctic sets. Apparently work started in 1987, and again in 1996 - and there's pictures of models (that never surfaced) from both previous attemps. Also, very cool, (...) (...) I agree. Have been to toy shops in Germany, Austria and Holland in the last 12 months and they seem to have healthy stocks of lego. Especially train which has disappeared in UK. Entertainer, Camberley or Reading - did decline but seems to have got more shelf space back at xmas, but mainly to the large amounts of discontinued sets. They have all the 2000 stuff, but (...) LEGO like other toys has been in decline in the UK for some years. I remember just a few years ago Woolworths having several aisles of LEGO, now there is only one shelf. All, this appears to be the J-box message from Dave Ryder that wee are looking for, a search on lugnet shows he has not posted since 9th August? Anything could have happened.
