(...) I agree. Have been to toy shops in Germany, Austria and Holland in the last 12 months and they seem to have healthy stocks of lego. Especially train which has disappeared in UK. I dont think my personal preferences for lego are much to go by, (...) (26 years ago, 29-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

LEGO like other toys has been in decline in the UK for some years. I remember just a few years ago Woolworths having several aisles of LEGO, now there is only one shelf. I didn't think K'nex would last but is has and is more readily available. There (...) (26 years ago, 29-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)
