Ik kan je helaas niet helpen om je geld van Paypal terug te krijgen, maar ik
wil wel bijdragen aan de waarschuwing.
Het heeft met Paypal al vanaf het begin af aan niet goed gelopen, met name
voor houders van creditcart van de Mastercart organisatie. Meerdere
landgenoten met een Mastercart hebben geprobeert zich bij Paypal in te
schrijven, en het is vaak niet gelukt. Ze schijnen al die tijd al ruzie met
elkaar te hebben over verificatieprocedures of zoiets. En blijkbaar nu
plotseling ook met Visa.
Voor mij reden genoeg om voorlopig nog niet met Paypal in zee te gaan. Ik
heb ondertussen wel een aantal custom sets in de USA gekocht, waarbij ik
voor de betaling een prima alternatief heb gevonden. Het heet "factoring",
en ik adviseer om aan de verkoper te vragen of deze betaalwijze mogelijk is
als je iets in het buitenland koopt.
Ton, ik begrijp dat jij ook verkoopt? Misschien is "Factoring" voor jou een
manier om je transacties voort te zetten zonder dat je nog verder van Paypal
afhankelijk bent. (Het is goed als er ook geld van USA naar nederland gaat)
