| The Hobby Show in Toronto is just about 6 months away. This post is intended to gauge the level of interest that people have in putting on a booth at this year's show. As a reminder, the Can-Brick Builders attended last year's show (Nov 2003) and (...) | I seen that they are trying to get clear out some of their remaining holiday stock. They had Dragon Fortresses for $70 down from $100 CDN. | ParLUGment just had our first showing here in Ottawa, and everybody loved it. The word "LEGO" was on the lips of both young and old at the Train Show. Everybody was coming back again and again. | (...) You can use it as a good firewall. That's what we use for our home network - an old 486, with (less than [1]) 8Mb of RAM, and ~200M disk space... And it's the firewall for ~8 machines at any given time, doing pretty smart stuff, with an (...) (23 years ago, 1-Sep-03, to lugnet.loc.ca.on)

| I got this 486 - 33Mhz with 8Mb RAM that taking up too much space and all I can think of using it for is a boat anchor and forgetting to put a rope on it. | (...) Hi Allan, Personally, being in Ottawa, I did travel to rtl/Train1 & Train2, but that was down and back the same day, which is a lot of driving time and gas.
