Re: Lego aircraft, and additional S@H stuff

(...) Well, that's 2 for 2. I guess I'll have to pick one up. Too bad that flat rate shipping has expired. Tim Strutt 8^) (23 years ago, 10-Jul-01, to lugnet.loc.ca.on, lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.org.ca.monlug)

Re: Lego aircraft, and additional S@H stuff

(...) I think the Spy runner is worth it. The small truck is somewhat juniorized and pretty useless, but the plane is worth it. (23 years ago, 9-Jul-01, to lugnet.loc.ca.on, lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.org.ca.monlug)

Re: Lego aircraft, and additional S@H stuff

(...) My response to your questions: 1. Yup, I've got a spy runner…FOR FREE… a Shop @ Home exclusive offer during Christmas. And yes, I think it’s worth it. I like the minifigs and flexible windshield! 2. I too keep recievin’ the January catalogue. (...) (...) Well, I got my 1775 on Thursday, and 1817 on Friday. Nice sets. And I just got the January S@H catalogue with Friday's shipment. I hadn't seen it before. Very strange, considering I had 3 seperate orders in the month before, and they (...)   Re: Windy Canada Day

(...) You're not joking. We were some of the unfortunate ones who went to see the fireworks, and sat down by the water freezing our butts off for 2 hours before they told us that they were cancelled because of the wind.   Windy Canada Day

What a windy Canada Day here in Ottawa. I had two Arctic Ice Surfer sets sitting in front of an open window. When I arrived home that night, I found that both of them had sailed across the room! Just as Lego boats can really float, Lego Ice Surfers (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jul-01, to lugnet.loc.ca.on.ott)

  Re: Zellers sale

(...) Actually, I kind of like the Jack Stone sets. It would be nice if they were a little cheaper, but they actually look half decent, and they've got some neat parts. It would be real cool if the stucture parts were available in large quantities, (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jul-01, to lugnet.loc.ca.on.tor, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Zellers sale

Personally, I wouldn't buy the Jack Stone sets for anybody... first price vs. quality factor... those sets are trash....plain and simple If your children are young ~5 to 8....Creator line is a lot better.   RE: Zellers sale

Hi, Just came home from Zellers....they have all the Jack Stone sets now...I bought two for my boys. I only bought the small $4.99 sets since it seems like the others are wayyyyyy over priced...$19.99, 29.99 and 69.99. However, the $4.99 sets were (...) (...) And once again there's not a single thing about it in the flyer here. Basically all it says is "we have LEGO". Maybe that's Zellers new code for announcing LEGO sales.
