You're not joking. We were some of the unfortunate ones who went to see the
fireworks, and sat down by the water freezing our butts off for 2 hours
before they told us that they were cancelled because of the wind.
It's good to hear from another Ottawa LEGO fan.
Have you considered coming out to our LEGO group meetings?
There are 4 of us regulars, and one more is supposed to join us next
meeting too, which will make it 5.

| What a windy Canada Day here in Ottawa. I had two Arctic Ice Surfer sets sitting in front of an open window. When I arrived home that night, I found that both of them had sailed across the room! Just as Lego boats can really float, Lego Ice Surfers (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jul-01, to lugnet.loc.ca.on.ott)
