Has anyone ordered from Shop at Home since Lego has moved the operation to the US? I am planning to order the BarCode Truck and am wondering if there are any customs or duty charges when this stuff comes accroos the border. (24 years ago, 4-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.ca.ab.edm)

Not too many people read this, but I suspect several are like me - they subscribe by e-mail. :) If you're interested, there is a mailing list (of sorts) that Chris Gray is kind enough to host...just reply here, he'll see it.   Local Legofest

Call for interest for a local Lego-fest Chris Gray and I were talking about it, and decided to toss the idea out to the ether, and see if it pulled any other locals out from the woodwork.   Re: Local trades

James, I'm not too local, but this is the only Canadian lugnet.loc I've found that actually has traffic!   Re: Walmart Sale

(...) It's a pain finding _anything_ in the Edmonton Walmarts - I didn't even know about a toy clearance!   Re: Walmart Sale

Hi James, I read this group fairly regularly, but message volume is pretty light! As I don't live in Edmonton, it is nice to hear about the Lego sales from a local person. Have you found the toy clearance sections in the various Edmonton Walmarts? I (...) (26 years ago, 10-Dec-98, to lugnet.loc.ca.ab.edm)

  Walmart Sale

Hey, I just found out last night that the Walmart in Capilano mall has 6497 Twisted Time Train on for ~25.00, if anyone's interested.   Local trades

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing local trades?   Interest in Lego train club?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone in Alberta or western Canada would be interested in a Lego train club, similar to the Pacific Northwest Lego Train Club?
