(...) Yep. The owner of a local toystore told me the same thing a while back. Duty actually should not be a problem - I believe there is no actual _duty_ on toys, judging from my experience getting things from the US. What there IS, is GST - and the (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jun-99, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Hi, I hope that Lego will copy other US mail order firms and charge the GST upfront, so that we won't be charged the $5.00 handling fee that the post office charges. (Or the $15 fee that the other shippers charge.) It is interesting to hear that (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jul-99, to lugnet.loc.ca)
