  Re: Retailer's Catalog

(...) Ah yes, I knew there was something I was forgetting. It was my first look at them too. They look pretty good. A little late for the Jurassic Park hype, but still cool. Robin (25 years ago, 23-Mar-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc, lugnet.loc.ca.bc.van)

  Retailer's Catalog

Hi guys, I had the chance yesterday to check out a a retailer's catalog, which had pictures of all the new stuff being introduced this year. I'd seen pictures of most of it before.   Re: 3 weeks waiting period

(...) I did some digging on US Cheques in Canadian banks before I started selling on ebay. Some Banks hold the cheques for 30 days! If you don't have a US account set up they can hold it for that long. It takes 3 times the time to ensure that a (...) (25 years ago, 20-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.ca)

  Re: 3 weeks waiting period

(...) It's possible, but not usual. Like Ralph's, my bank in Vancouver BC allows me to access the money immediately but if a check bounced they would of course debit my account again. I allow 10 days for clearing, but since I've never had a check (...) (25 years ago, 20-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.ca)

  RE: 3 weeks waiting period

(...) Hmmm, I wouldn't hold your breath for the set...this guy is either very slow to get stuff done, or he's just plain dishonest. As far as clearing the cheque, it depends on the bank and your relationship with it. At our local (Owen Sound) TD, I (...) (25 years ago, 20-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.ca)

  3 weeks waiting period

Hi , I hope it's the right place for this question, if it's not please excuse me. I won an auction at ebay and sent the seller (a Canadian seller) a US bank cheque. A while has passed and to my (3) inquiries he claimed he didn't get the cheque. (...) (25 years ago, 20-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.ca)
