Not sure if this has already been mentioned, but the DDK (R2-D2) is $40 at TRU (was originally $150, I think). Not a sale or anything, just their clearance price. For those south of the border thinking of coming up for shopping trips, that's about (...) (24 years ago, 14-Feb-01, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: Is the Flare Throwbot discontinued?

(...) Hi Bradley, I don't live in the US so I can't tell you which toy chain might still carry these. However, browsing shop.lego.com (with a US shopping basket of course) I found out that you can still order all 12 Slizers but the Amazon one. Flare (...)   Is the Flare Throwbot discontinued?

Flare is the only one I still need, but I can't find him. This thing was released only a year ago, so why has it disappeared already? The Flare Throwbots were very, very common sets last November and December. Does anyone know where I might find one (...) (24 years ago, 11-Feb-01, to lugnet.technic.slizer, lugnet.loc.ca.on)

  Upcoming Sales

I read a flyer from the Bay that said 20% off all toys, but didn't see the dates on it, I assume it is this weekend, as I got the flyer earlier in the week. Also, TRU apparently has all of the Lego buckets and tubs at 25% off, from Feb.10 to Feb. (...) (24 years ago, 10-Feb-01, to lugnet.loc.ca)

(...) I've taken a closer look to get the details: The year is 1998. It says a "35th Anniversary" on a badge printed on the front, next to a banner that says "Limited Edition."
