Re: We should draft an "official" letter to Lego Australia

In lugnet.loc.au, Santosh Bhat has a great suggestion: (...) Here's my rewrite of Santosh's draft, including Ben's suggestions. I've put changes in square brackets and preceded new material with asterisks, so if Santosh wrote "something like this", (...) (25 years ago, 26-May-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Toyworld specials (in Brisbane at least) - a review of the Sith Infiltrator

(...) Having bought one, here's my review. First take a look at it: (URL) Sith Infiltrator is not the most exciting piece in the Star Wars collection. It's medium in size and is somewhat unexciting in its colours (two tone grey with blue and black (...) (25 years ago, 26-May-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

RE: Toyworld specials (in Brisbane at least)

Down here, most toyworlds have sold out of 7151's, so I don't know what they were last priced at. I do know, however, that the 5988's have dropped in price, but I think they are either $79.99 or $89.99 down here. [I was told that the prices the (...) (25 years ago, 26-May-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Toyworld specials (in Brisbane at least)

I initially thought it was a one-off sighting ... but I have now seen a few Toyworld stores in Brisbane stocked to the gills with: 7151 Sith Infiltrators at $39 (down from $89) 5988 Pharoahs Forbidden Ruins at $99 (down from $189) Warning: all (...) (25 years ago, 26-May-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Mindstorms Ultimate Accessory Set

(...) From memory, it cost $US 50 from memory which included shipping within the USA. It's a hassle because S@H don't ship to Australia, so you have to have someone in the USA to place your order and then forward it to Australia. However, for the (...) Well, we've done it.Now we have to prove that we are the place to be for lego discussions [although unfortunately NOT the place to be for lego :( ] Lets see how long we can keep this up before anyone decides to try and get ahead of us. Benjamin (...) (25 years ago, 26-May-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

RE: Should we Draft an "official" letter to Lego Aust. ?

Santosh, Good idea. My major concern would be that LA may have some trouble with the www.lugnet.com site. Maybe a pointer to the Australian section as well? [or at least the .loc anyway, as that shows posings in Aus. If they see .loc.au, they'll see (...) (25 years ago, 26-May-00, to lugnet.loc.au)
