They can contribute to the resale value of a set, however, almost every
single set out there sells for more as parts. Of course many of the
boxes can be sold by themselves.

I have been doing a box purge. I have finally settled on keeping one
copy of each box, plus any boxes which have alternate models pictured
(for which there are no instructions in the instruction book), I'm
cutting out the alternate model pictures from a 2nd copy of the box. My
older boxes I will be keeping for the near future, but in the end, I'll
probably purge many of those.
When I first started the purge, I managed to sell a few boxes, but it
didn't turn out to really be worth it. I needed to clear space quickly
(that initial purge was to limit myself to four copies of each box).

| Yeah, i keep 1 copy of each box, (Usually flattened) the rest get thrown out... They just take up to much space...And space is at a premium in the LEGO room. -- Jason King LugNet #665 Frank Filz <ffilz@mindspring.com> wrote in message (...) (23 years ago, 7-Nov-01, to lugnet.loc.au)
