Yup, I only plan to carry the list.

Nah, they're just cells. I understand that worry, but on the other hand,
any alternate format I can think of (in keeping with the general Port Block
format) seems to waste a lot of space. The micromotor is no use to me,
anything worthwhile I can get for it from my list leaves me better off.

I won't know diddley about the transaction - that's up to those involved.
The smart ones wil email me and let me know what to add and subtract from
their listings.

Sorry, I don't follow

Email is what I was thinking. If it gets too much, updates wil start taking
longer :-). However, how many Australian based, web interactive, trading
AFOLs can there be? If the traffic really gets too much, I guess we could
ask Todd to create nationally based trade groups on lugnet - not so much
lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, but lugnet.trade.au. You'd have to repost
your list from time to time, but it should still work. Let's see what sort
of traffic is in it.

As a thought, I find it worthwhile (when contemplating a trade) to search
rtl and lugnet for the person's posts and email addresses. Posts over a
reasonable period, behaving reasonably, boosts credibility. When thinking
about trades, I'm thinking pretty small scale. Hard to believe someone
would go to a lot of trouble to rip me off over a second hand micromotor.
And honestly, we all get done over from time to time (whether we know it or
not), so if it happens, don't let it get at you.

See, that's the thing. If I post that I have this and that to trade, and
no-one bites, it might make sense for me to swap those bits out and others
in, no? In the meantime, get me your want list and I'll see what I can do.
We've already worked out you have something of value to me!

Still baldly going...
