  8448 Super Car -- a rave and a review
 
After weeks of not having enough spare time, I finally built my 8448 Super Car Mark 2. It was worth the wait. It is simply the best model I have built, and I think it will be hard to beat, superb looks and nifty mechanicals. (URL) you haven't had (...) (25 years ago, 8-May-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) Yes, I should have mentioned that. I was very impressed with the modular construction. In constrast, the 8480 Space Shuttle which is the other set I'm building at the moment doesn't have modular construction, just the usual bottom-top (...) (25 years ago, 9-May-00, to lugnet.loc.au)
