Well, I can't confirm that this is a nationwide thing but here in Melbourne we see a glut of the Model Team set 5561 reach a new low price of $59 at KMart! Trying not to sound like an advertisement here, but I don't remember ever seeing such a (...) (25 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

I bought the Model Team 5561 in KMart in Brisbane a few weeks ago, but I think the price was higher, about $69 (or maybe $79). Even at that price, I thought it was a good deal. The 5561's got lots of pieces, so takes a while to build (which is good (...) (25 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.au)
