Re: source for 1 x 12 technic beams in red?

(...) be (...) Just for the record, define "preferable" -- what does it mean? I'm genuinely curious because, for quantities of a specific part, there are effectively only two options. First, you pray that S@H happens to have them in a bulk pack (...) (20 years ago, 18-Dec-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: source for 1 x 12 technic beams in red?

(...) For Mr.Wilson I think it means 75% cheaper than all other possible options. (snippage) (...) Not too sure if the SAH/BL/eb success can take sole credit. Most people were probably sourcing items from within their own LUG anyway. Next January it (...) (20 years ago, 20-Dec-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) How can buying a set off the shelf be cheaper than a small number of parts off Bricklick ? I know BL is sometimes pricey, but you could mail 1 x N beams in an envelope connected together and wrapped in tape for $1.50-$2 ish pete.w (who used to (...)   Re: source for 1 x 12 technic beams in red?

(...) I'd rather buy the set! After all, all the pieces go into the collection, it is cheaper on a cpp measure. (And I get lots more inspirational pieces besides). (...) Indeed. And used most excellent packaging besides. Cheers Richie Dulin (20 years ago, 20-Dec-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) Motherhood has called ! It's not all tennis, chit-chat and afternoon teas (maybe in the leafier suburbs). I will need to come out of my Duplo dark age soon too. pete.w (bottle feeding advocate) (20 years ago, 21-Dec-04, to lugnet.loc.au)
