I work for QLD Rail and would like to incorporate something like their’s into
a logo for BLTG I was just using yours as a good example.

Hey no problem. Just to let you know-- I have helped design about a dozen LTCs
with logos, and I gladly offer my (free) services to any club, particularily
ones who are interested in derivative logos of current or fallen flags.
