I suspect that any state capital (Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth,
Hobart or Adelade) would be able to provide a location to hold a national
meet (not speeking for the other states but there is certainly places in
perth that we could find).
The biggest issue is how many people would be able to afford to go (air
tickets, hotel costs etc) for each possible location?
Would people be able to afford to go if it was in perth?
My personal vote is for perth but if no-one could afford to get here then
what would be the point :)
Thoughts?

| (...) Three years ago we had a National Meet down in Melbourne on the Queen's Birthday long weekend. It's since been held in Brisbane and Sydney. The Queen's Birthday this year is the 14th June. (Long weekend 12-14 June) Are we back in Melbourne (...) (21 years ago, 26-Feb-04, to lugnet.loc.au)
