Dream on! I was at the Opera House last weekend (to see "Last Cab to
Darwin", my brother's latest project) and I was looking at those curves,
thinking "no way, no way, no way!".

Maybe, but there is pretty good public transport to Star City, isn't there?
Buses. Light rail from Central. Monorail from the CBD. Ferries. (I haven't
been there but I just checked their WWW site). So it really is pretty
central. Indeed I would even say it was walking distance from the CBD unless
you were in a hurry. I've walked from Sydney CBD to Darling Harbour many
times and Star City is just behind Darling Harbour. So I don't see the
location as a problem, and it would establish a tradition, wouldn't it? :-)

Quay?)
Yeah, I'd be up for that. Parramatta is pretty historical too, I've often
meant to go there just for that reason. We could start out meeting at
Parramatta, then later ferry down to Circular Quay in the late afternoon for
another rendez-vous point and coffee stop, then wander over (various of
transportation options possible but I'm always a sucker for ferries) to the
casino for the buffet for 7pm (say), being a 3rd rendez-vous point. Would we
need to book the casino buffet?
