I can now update my attendance to Definite, arriving Thursday leaving
Tuesday.

Incidentally if anyone is planning on travelling on Qantas FF points, then I
suggest you book straightaway. I was very surprised at how limited the
availability was for the long weekend when I booked this morning.

Planes seem to be packed at the moment. I was booked on 6:10 BNE - SYD
yesterday, and when I tried to change it to an earlier flight (fully flexible
ticket), the only other flight they could get me on was the 2:10.

Still, I take heart that the crowded planes are the ones least likely to be
taken over by terrorists...

Back on topic: those Bricksmeeters™ that are going to be in Sydney on Saturday
7th and would like to participate in the other activities.... what sort of
activities would you like to participate in... LEGO® shopping? sightseeing? (I
still hope that Kerry has plans for the Opera House in LEGO soon...)

Also, re: dinner on Saturday... we had thought of Star City Casino where there
is a buffet on Saturday nights (deja vu!), but Star City is not as convenient to
Sydney city as the Treasury is to Brisbane.

The lower north shore (ie Crows Nest & surrounds) has plenty of good restaurants
(pick a cuisine, any cruisine...) and would suit those staying in the north, and
Kerry (though possibly not all those staying in the mountains or the highlands).

City Extra in Circular Quay springs to mind as somewhere fairly central, fairly
easy to access, with a decent view and food which is good (if not particularly
imaginative or particularly inexpensive).

(hmmm: How about shopping at Parramatta, then a ferry ride to Circular Quay?)

Any other ideas, suggestions or requests?

Cheers

Richie
