And where is considered central for a national meet? Hornsby, like the
event?
I'd have to vote for central Sydney rather than Hornsby, due to public
transport accessability from all parts of Sydney. Besides I think central
Sydney is a bit more interesting for the visitor than Hornsby (which is
somewhat poorly supplied with harbours, bridges, opera houses and so forth).
Is there anywhere the locals would recommend eating that also has some kind
of view?

My roster was changed (again), so I'll have saturday off and can do things like
shopping and dinner. Yay!

Anyways I'll be pottering around the city (GBs, Myer, Hobbyco) and maybe out to
Broadway (1kmish from CBD: Kmart, lunch). I'll have my mobile phone on me so if
you want to meet up, reply here before Friday arvo or give me a call on the day
(or friday nite) on oh-four oh-four eighteen eighteen eighty. There may also be
oppotunites to do some sightseeing (siteseeing?) and bookshopping (I'm not only
into LEGO!).

I'm thinking dinner at Star City (should be cheapish and with enough capacity
for a Saturday night), though that might change given who's there and what they
want to eat

Monday might be spent checking out Chatswood (TRU, GB, Myer, Target, Kmart) if I
haven't had enough LEGO by then.

Anyways, give me a call if you're around!

James (who's getting a bit Big Kev about it all)

(...) See also my comments/suggestions in (URL) which I was writing as you posted this. (Which I really, really should have checked with James about before posting! Apologies!) (...) Cheers Richie (21 years ago, 29-May-03, to lugnet.loc.au)
