I'd have to vote for central Sydney rather than Hornsby, due to public
transport accessability from all parts of Sydney. Besides I think central
Sydney is a bit more interesting for the visitor than Hornsby (which is
somewhat poorly supplied with harbours, bridges, opera houses and so forth).
Is there anywhere the locals would recommend eating that also has some kind
of view?

hey, just trying to organise stuff for the thing and the like, do we know even what time we are looking at for dinner? And where is considered central for a national meet? Hornsby, like the event? Sydney, perhaps more central to more people in the (...) (21 years ago, 25-May-03, to lugnet.loc.au)
