   hi all i am one of those lurking people (but its been a while) i didnt know where to post this so I thought I would stick to good old Oz for an answer.      Generally, I just cut up the boxes, keeping the front and the back (as well as any alternative scenes from the sides) and putting the rest out with recycling. It should be noted that this is purely a space-saving measure and is not done with any (...) (21 years ago, 15-May-03, to lugnet.loc.au)

   (...) You might find that there are a handful of people that actually collect empty Lego boxes, especially if they are from old 70's or 80's sets.
