Ritchie, Thanks for adding this, and Allister's FJ and Ben's Memorial onto the Aussie Icon list. It is always good to see things in lego with local meaning. Keep up the good site. Robert (21 years ago, 29-Apr-03, to lugnet.loc.au)

Aussie Icons (Re: New MOC, HZ Ute, minifig scale) —Richie Dulin
(...) A couple of questions for .loc.au residents - Should the 'Aussie Icons' list be above the 'Aussie Groups' list? (Or perhaps the Aussie Groups just as one line to the Aussie Groups page?) Should an Aussie Icon replace Uluru on the .loc.au (...) (21 years ago, 30-Apr-03, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) Seems fine as it is. (...) Yes, unless, of course someone makes Uluru in Lego. (...) That's a good idea. What size would you like? (...) Of course. The people need to know. Another idea: How about we generate a list of Aussie icons, so that if (...) (21 years ago, 30-Apr-03, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Aussie Icons (Re: New MOC, HZ Ute, minifig scale) —Richie Dulin
(...) *That* is the ideal solution. I tried to do it as a mosaic using orange and red ( 40x8, side on, or thereabouts, IIRC, but it really needs to be larger to to it justice... and 3D would be ideal). (I do have a minifig aborigine to stand in (...) (21 years ago, 30-Apr-03, to lugnet.loc.au)

Another Aussie Icon would be an Outback station (sheep and/or cattle), much like the Stations owned by various relatives of mine. (21 years ago, 2-May-03, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: New MOC, HZ Ute, minifig scale —Braith Garden
