  small white cat

Saw a town minifigure set today that had a small white cat in it. It was clawing a pizza (cats and pizzas...six degrees...). This would make a nice bookend for the small black cat (very small books). I have more than eight black cats, with eight (...) (25 years ago, 4-Nov-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  MB sightings

Saw my first copy of the MB Aircraft Carrier today. Picked up the box....certainly is heavy. Nice alternate models on the back too, one looked like a bulk-carrier or oil tanker, I guess the F-14's just sadly circle above it until they run out of (...) (25 years ago, 4-Nov-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Close Encounters

Parramatta TRU - It's not everyday that while staring at the Lego shelves and sizing up the stock that three adults appear in front of you and grab three 6093's and a 6091. We know this type of behaviour too well. They all knew about Lugnet and sang (...) (25 years ago, 4-Nov-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: TRU Chatswood info (was:sale dates)

(...) Mmmm, kinda figured they would be, but since they're not minifig scale, who cares anyway :-) Those little bits can go straight to my sons. I can't wait to get started on a minifig CVE, something my finances would prevent me from even (...) (25 years ago, 4-Nov-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org)

Re: Just the thing for a toyshop display

(...) I just went and checked the good book, hmmm... tan, white and black mosaics, very 1970's. My earlier comment was only an attempt at humour. I had somehow forgotten that it is true. (...) Think of how many basic brick sets you would need, just (...) (25 years ago, 3-Nov-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Yet another TRU heads-up

  Re: Yet another TRU heads-up

(...) On the contrary Kerry; I thought your Lego aircraft carrier and the Governor's flaming longboat were brilliant!! But can Queensland minifigs get single malt? Or are they restricted to XXXX and Bundy? --DaveL (25 years ago, 3-Nov-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

Re: Just the thing for a toyshop display

(...) It's the small mosaics above each employee's desk that bother me :) I believe (given the info in the Ultimate Lego Book, Dorling Kindersley) that the portraits of the three generations of head bricks hang in the Billund offices somewhere, (...) (25 years ago, 2-Nov-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Just the thing for a toyshop display

Everyone has probably seen Eric Harshbarger's Lego mosaic, (URL) lego.html Wouldn't a mosaic of a similar size be a great crowd puller for one of the planned toyshop displays. We could model Richards' floating funeral pyre or maybe Sophie Gosper or (...) (25 years ago, 2-Nov-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Yet another TRU heads-up

(...) Chatswood TRU still had a pile of 7171's but that was a couple of weeks ago. But it's 9:30 Sydney time now and you would have more up-to-date info. Funny, when GB's has a sale so does TRU. pw (25 years ago, 2-Nov-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

  Re: Hey, What is up?

  Re: Yet another TRU heads-up

(...) It's 1:30am here in Brisbane. This is one of the benefits of adult life; you decide when you go to bed. Admittedly the quality of my ramblings is correspondingly diminished. Kerry (25 years ago, 2-Nov-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

  Re: PAYPALS Goes International!!!!!

I had a look over it this morning, there appears to be a limit of $500 over six months. This is pretty low when you think about it. Also, I have heard that, although payment is "instant", they can take up to 90 days to check the transaction is (...) (25 years ago, 2-Nov-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.loc.uk)
