  Re: Port Block Yards

(...) Thanks for the help guys. After a while you lose track and need someone else's keen eyes and mind :-) I'll sort some corrections this weekend, and hope to post more widely over the weekend. Richard Still baldly going... (25 years ago, 12-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Black Cat Big Rig -- not so big anymore!

It seems to be generally agreed that the 5571 Black Cat Big Rig (and other variants) is the set with the largest number of pieces. Well, it looks like Lego is going to break this record big time with a new Statue of Liberty set (that isn't going to (...) (25 years ago, 12-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: LegOz 2000.7 wrap up. - WARNING

I already got the Tow truck with the Super car last week. I picked up an 8266 competition set, a bit weird, but it has a motor, battery box and lots of other bits for the price of the motor kit ($75). I also got a Rock Raiders Granite Grinder (4940) (...)   Re: Port Block Yards

(...) Great idea Richard -- it works well as a PB extension. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the ground crew. Only noticed one tiny bug on the Stinger Bee page -- I think it's a <set:6462> mod, but the link goes to the (yet to be produced) set (...) (25 years ago, 12-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Swapping at Studfest 2000: Part the Fifth

(...) Sounds familiar -- I'll bring along some Classic castle, including grilled helms, and SW peasants: I'd be up for islander types with their cute little topknots. Pete, was there anything in particular you'd like for the BV fruit? --Dave L (25 years ago, 12-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Vivat Rex, Studfest V Brikwars

A quick recap of the Brikwars we might play at the next Studfest. There was a brief plot thingy along the lines of capture the flag, err, king. If I recall correctly Richard, Pete, Kev, Dave and I have all expressed interest. If someone can't (...) (25 years ago, 12-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  OT: Viva Bris Vegas

Off Topic (...) I'm not sure where Bris-Vegas originally came from BUT it started appearing in the Brisbane street press around 1992. I think it originally had something to do with the absolute lack of anything on in Brisbane most of the time and (...) (25 years ago, 12-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.au, lugnet.loc.au)
