  Re: My AT-ST

(...) I'll third the motion-- I can't seem to connect to that address (even without the lego.htm) from three different locations (all US, all NorthEast) over the last two days. I can't get so much as an error message out of the web server that's (...) (25 years ago, 4-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.loc.au)

  LA does something right...

While talking to a manager (?) at a toyworld near work at lunch today I found out a little bit of info about the soccer sets. It seems that these sets are popular, as the local store has sold out, and they were told by LA that they are on (...) (25 years ago, 4-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

  Sneaky tricks by Myer

Recently Myer had a 20% off sale on Lego (or was it all toys ? I can't remember, but I was only interested in the Lego ;) Before the sale, they had the MTT going for $82 or so (a little above other places, e.g. Big W at around $80, but not bad). Lo (...) (25 years ago, 4-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: When is Lego actually considered old?

(...) bucks, whatever their size. I've noticed this but find it curious because a lot of those earlier sets: 1. don't seem to require a lot of really specialised Technics parts 2. have instructions on-line on brickshelf I've never actively pursued (...) "> >How much are Lego Mindstorms, thinking of getting one, I think they are great! James, with your level of ability, I think you should be looking at the Robotics Invention System. I think you would find the less sophisticated Droid Developer or (...) (25 years ago, 4-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) shelves. I finished building the UCS Tie Interceptor yesterday. Having now built the Millennium Falcon, the UCS X-Wing, and the UCS Tie Interceptor, I would have to rank them: 1. X-wing (big, nice design, some mechanicals) 2. Tie Interceptor (...) (25 years ago, 4-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: newbie to lugnet

(...) Arrr, etc etc. Welcome aboard! <<pauses to swashbuckle to and fro a bit>> Looking for redcoats and bluecoats - you're not on your Pat Malone there. I'd suggest watching the tradingpost (URL) watching eBay (URL) in a supreme being? And is your (...) (25 years ago, 4-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  newbie to lugnet

Hi there, Lego collecting has recently been revived from my childhood and so I'm new to Lugnet. The themes I'm interested in are Castle and Pirate. I'm particularly looking for Imperial (both red and blue coats) Pirate sets and oldish Castle sets. (...) (25 years ago, 4-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.au.tas.hob)

  TRU Heads-up

I'm not sure if I've seen this item mentioned, but the 8462 blue Technic tow truck is on sale at TRU for $131.00. I seem to recall that David Drew recommended buying it for under $200, so this seems like a pretty good price. Have fun finding one (...) (25 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.au)
