RE: Just bought the Football sets

(...) True, the government does tax highly...but if LA can get the soccer sets [that we weren't going to be getting] into the country, and can sell them at this price when they were originally going to be $115 or so, it begins to look like it's not (...)   Re: Ruckus over in Lego Direct

(...) Yep, I'd say let it go for a while. The American's are still wiping the drool from their faces over this, so I doubt we'd be high on their priority list until they've drained the current world stocks of ABS. Given the speed of which LD has (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) respite. (...) Did you get these at Parramatta ? I was there on Monday and couldn't find anything :^( I think it's time to stick it to the real problem. Our government/s State and Federal that tax everything that moves. Brad mentioned in his (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Just bought the Football sets

These FOOTBALL sets are great! I bought one of just about each set, and I spent two hours playing around with how i could make the seating tiered and mutli-level. And the prices on them are fantastic too! So the potential for making a stadium are (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

RE: To all residents of perth

The adventurer sets are almost certainly 5903 and 5904...one is a 'microlight', and the other is a 'wheelbarrow' which DOES include a dinosaur..a baby T-rex [admittedly not as good as the big dino's, but it is still a dinosaur] Benjamin Whytcross (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Any Themepary Layouts?

I will be doing that as soon as I can free up some time... At home, I have a newspaper article about a man in Ohio who created a Lego amusement park. He donated it to a children's museum, I think. Paul Sinasohn LUGNET Member 115 (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Any Themepary Layouts?

(...) I've made actual working rides, and at one time seriously contemplated building an amusement park, but then I started tearing the rides apart and that though left me. You can see the 3 rides that I created on my web page. There's a fourth (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Soccer sets

(...) Maybe you could use redbeard torsos. And are peglegs allowed to play? A few questions: (1) With the big price reductions, is anyone still interested in doing some sort of Legoz combined stadium? I'm guessing most people will get some of the (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Soccer buses

Evening all. Having just had a bit of a fool with one of the soccer buses, I echo the support for them that I have read around the place. Its a good, non-juniorised set, plenty of window, figs, hair, plates, and at $20, pretty good value. Timmy (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au)
