  Re: don't feed the trolls!

(...) Maybe our 7-year transportation to loc.au for crimes against inanity is up ? Is 'The Align Parsons Project' still stuck in the recording studio ? The BUGS have been shunted and the STUD's bits got rusty and fell off/would no longer join and (...) (18 years ago, 20-Nov-06, to lugnet.loc.au)

  don't feed the trolls!

Hey, Aussies, come back to loc.au where you are appreciated for your deadpan humour and laidback attitude to family-friendliness. It's a sad sad world that can't appreciate our sense of humour and it appears that's most of Lugnet these days. Sigh! I (...) (18 years ago, 20-Nov-06, to lugnet.loc.au) !!

  Christmas Beetle

Hi all, Well I've posted this on some other sites but figured maybe it would be of interest to people here. Anyway, here is my Christmas Beetle mech, with luck I'll be able to bring it the the BUGS meeting but we'll see how my luggage holds up. (2 (...)   Sweet store, book store, cafe and more - all in 1 building!

Hello all, Before I totally dismantle my building of the Sweet store..., I decided to finish parts of it off and take some extra photos. (...) Good-oh! What would you like brought along in terms of non-Lego? Meat for the BBQ? Drinks? Kerry (18 years ago, 13-Nov-06, to lugnet.loc.au.qld.bri)

  Re: Brislug meeting, anyone?

(...) Ok, the 26th it is. Kick off from 10:30am-ish. I haven't got any games planned, (nor prizes handy), but if anyone has any ideas, feel free to suggest them here or on the day. I'm sure we can find something to do to amuse us. Cheers, Allister (18 years ago, 13-Nov-06, to lugnet.loc.au.qld.bri)

Re: Batman Arkham Asylum at TRU

(...) I recomend this set regardless, The Box does not show of anywhere near it's true glory. The upstairs prison cells are fantastic, and the small touches are cool, that and the bucket load of small windows you get. May have to swing by tru for (...) (18 years ago, 12-Nov-06, to lugnet.loc.au)

  M>ltc at Langwarrin train show

(2 URLs) M>ltc displayed our current layout at the Langwarrin Train Show on November 11 and 12. It was a great show, and the layout was well received. The layout was the same "Mount Freedom" layout shown at Brickvention in June, and it will now be (...) (18 years ago, 13-Nov-06, to lugnet.trains.org.mltc, lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

Re: My first post with my new name ;)

My German favourite is Rathaus -- town hall = rat house -- I guess politicians aren't held in high regard in Germany either. Kerry (18 years ago, 12-Nov-06, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Batman Arkham Asylum at TRU

The latest TRU junk mail shows the Batman Arkham Asylum as a TRU exclusive being sold at $99 save $30. So if you are trying to become batman complete (or just want the set), go to your local TRU and get one (but not before I have a chance to get (...) (18 years ago, 12-Nov-06, to lugnet.loc.au)

I always giggle when I see something that sounds odd in English and it's funny to see signs on the motorway that start with 'bad....' I think "that doesn't sound like a place I (...)   Re: My first post with my new name ;)

(...) Oh yes, skirt, sorry. But wait... it was... only for testing your language skills, of course! (...) Not only surnames. What about cities? "Pforzheim" (Farthome) is a corny gag here, but e.g. "Darmstadt". It's a pretty large city in Germany, so (...) (18 years ago, 10-Nov-06, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

(...) Hi Kerry, Don't worry! Even in German it's fairly uncommon and at least oddish to listen. @Mel: Don't worry too! My children's last name is "Blaurock" (blue coat), it's not an awful lot better. @Christian: Don't worry at all! You're really not (...) (18 years ago, 10-Nov-06, to lugnet.loc.au)
