  Re: Greed?

(...) Sorry Richard, English is not my mother tongue. So why did I use the word greed here? As a matter of fact I have not used that word since ever - I had to look into my dictionary to cheack the meaning of "greed". I only have used this word, (...) (...) Definitely exists (I have two 664 TV Camera sets bought for the black hat). There is at least one other stiffy set with a black cowboy hat (372 Texas Rangers, which also has red ones). I agree about the question on the tree on 6390, WHY??? (...) (22 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) Yes, perhaps it is. Ben is E2L(1), please keep that in mind, and sometimes that causes misunderstanding. Reading over your words and his, I don't find that much disagreement, believe it or not. Waa Hoo! Those are all great sets that I would like to get. Of course being a space fan my vote had to go to the best space theme ever, Blacktron. I would be almost as happy with a Falcon Fortress though just for the grey pieces. -Mike Petrucelli (22 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

New colors for old Legends (WAS: legend voting)

(...) Don, I have previously suggested a similar course of action for this set: (URL) this is one of my all time favorite sets, and at the top of my list for a Legends reissue, it frankly looks silly in blue. The vehicle it was based on was not blue (...) (22 years ago, 14-Apr-02, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Legends in stores?

(...) Arrgh! Why doesn't Lego set up a direct shop in Arizona? I know they probably have them in California, NY, and near their corporate HQ, but It seems where I live, is the last place to get Lego at a decent price. :( If only Lego released Legend (...) (...) Hi Jake and people at lego.direct, I am not glad about the idea of the legends at all (in the way they are done so far). I gave my opinions in lugnnet.trains when the Metroliner 10001 has been released (That is in fact the only train set I (...) (22 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Legends in stores?

(...) So-- If I may ask, how are Legends doing as a product line? Are we likely to see "legends" in stores? Are the Wild West & Pirate sets currently in stores considered "legends"? I guess why I ask is that I'd much prefer them in stores. I hate to (...) (22 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.general)

XPFUT .general <snipped it all> First off, this is XPFUT'd to .general because I'd like to spark an intelligent conversation about the Legends line. I had to vote for the Barracuda :P All of the other sets can be built, or very nearly so, from easily accessible pieces. The Barracuda, however ... those pieces are a treasure! -s (22 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)
