Re: LEGO is listening! (was...are you listening?)

(...) I do play on the floor (carpet) with my Jr. sets all the time! Less pieces to lose, and you can be building with them and watching tv at the same time. As the vehicles are rather similar and simple, the real challenge lies in customizing the (...) (24 years ago, 6-Nov-00, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Re-release of classical sets?

(...) The last I heard was no, LEGO will not re-release any sets. Mind you, I do not remember the source of that so at best it is a rumour and at worst it is true. :-( Sorry, Jude (24 years ago, 6-Dec-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Are you paying attention, LEGO?

(...) Why does that worry you? If a competitor is able to manufacture a product that receives praise, and that product is still less popular than the leading brand, I'd think the leading brand would be elated. Alternatively, if MegaBloks keeps (...) (24 years ago, 31-Oct-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Re: Are you paying attention, LEGO?

Basically TLC has 2 goals that several of you are paraphrasing. 1. Gaining market share through superior product. One way to gain market share is by introducing potential long term customers to your product. Does that mean get the kids at an earlier (...) I used to dig in my heels and deny it, but looking back at products of years past, I have to admit grudgingly that their earlier products didn't stick together consistently or well. Some bricks (...) (...) I don't see why the mosaic should be hard for them to ship. Ultimately, because of how it's packaged, its just a group of sets which are ordered in a somewhat bizarre way. Like I stated earlier, the problem for old LEGO set instructions for sets from 1955 to 1972 is that 1) Town was alone in the LEGO System world until Train came out in 1966, and others in the 1970's and 2) classic windows came in 9 window (...)
