Again, this is what we asked for. We wanted input, and TLC is announcing

Yep, I think you're right there. Looking at these messages and the group
they're in I'd say 'announce' should be for the marketing messages like the
three you mentioned above (two of which were in 'direct') and 'direct'
should be for the direct dialogue with Lego. Which doesn't mean they should
be restricted to this newsgroup if they want to react/response.
