I am also one of these customers that was contacted. What is your advice in
regard to our order that has been made already. The UPS shipping fellow told
me I had to pay. Are lego sorting this on behalf of all the australian
orders made so far?

This is a mistake!  LEGO Direct pays all Customs, GST and fees on behalf of
the customers. So the price visible at www.LEGO.com is all inclusive.

We have been working with UPS to clear up why this has happened to prevent
it from happening again. While this error is a typical start up error, it is
of course completely unacceptable. We are working fast and feverously to
make sure this error doesn't happen again.
