Re: Shop at Home up and running?

(...) The price is a little steep, but it's still a pretty cool set. Sadly, I think TLC is getting the wrong idea about pricing -- I guess there is little hope in getting them to drop prices any time soon. The pumpkin itself is very similar to what (...)   Shop at Home up and running?

If I missed an announcement earlier, sorry. Just went to Lego.com and noticed the shop link. After going there noticed Orange Bulk Brick message, which is actually a pumpkin you can make. 87 bricks for $9.99 Haven't checked it all out yet or ordered (...)   Re: Chrome Knights now at LEGO Shop At Home

(...) I'm not sure if I have enough grey matter - but I do agree. (...) Yep, it would be better if cutting out the middle man meant low prices - but it does not. Further to that, at times I find the service here (UK/Europe) pretty poor. (...) Ditto (...) (24 years ago, 17-Oct-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Chrome Knights now at LEGO Shop At Home

(...) snip... (...) I was being partly facetious. I like the chrome helmets, which would be nice to be able to order in bulk. However, for each helmet I purchase through these sets, I'm going to get a dragon I'm not especially crazy about. Promoting (...) (24 years ago, 16-Oct-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) We'll forgive you anyways <grin, duck, run> (...) Sorry, unless you scope out garage sales or have a relative strapped for cash. (...) We are all waiting to see. (...) It would be nice to see more Theme-based tubs and buckets. (...) I do not (...) (24 years ago, 16-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Chrome Knights now at LEGO Shop At Home

(...) Shouldn't this be in either lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade or lugnet.market.shopping? ;) Very nice news, Brad! Steve (24 years ago, 16-Oct-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: "Chrome" sets 4816-19

(...) But to what end? Does it really seem to you that Brad or TLC is more likely to respond to your acerbic tantrums than to a politely worded request for information? If in fact TLC is slow to respond in any case, does it seem probable that (...) (24 years ago, 16-Oct-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Chrome Knights now at LEGO Shop At Home

(...) Home (...) are (...) soon (...) Actually, from a Lego perspective the purpose of these sets is to build interest in Lego. Since, I think, everyone here or using S@H is already pretty interested in Lego, I don't think it's hurting anything. (...) (24 years ago, 16-Oct-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Chrome Knights now at LEGO Shop At Home

(...) Why should this get Brad in trouble (unless after all of his string pulling, very few people order these item)? I wouldn't count on seeing the chromed items in bulk. I doubt they'd sell more than 1000 of each pack, which undoubtedly is far too (...) (24 years ago, 15-Oct-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)
