Thanks for confirming that it's not just me! :) I think it likely that 'something happened' given that it was already down for several hours before this splash screen went up, together with the site misbehaving yesterday, and the timing of (...) (...) That's it in a nutshell. I bought some SF carriages and Super Chief and after running them for only a short amount of time it slowed right down. The Motor was cutting out due to the load, from the weight of these heavier carriages. Not the (...) (18 years ago, 10-Mar-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.lego.direct)

Well I know I'm late on my input, but I was having the same LUGNET posting problem that the Italian AFOLs were having. Couldn't post for a while, but now I can again..... (...)
