Hi Jake, That's one of the issues... this seems to be a requirement, based on the (URL) official rules>, but it's fairly buried: As part of the LEGO Factory Element Pallet, the Entrant will be provided with three different (3) 8 knob x 8 knob (...)   Re: LEGO Factory Contest: Rules or Suggestions?

(...) I know there are some things with the voting that needs double checking. I've talked to the team working on the site and they are currently looking into it. As far as the 16x16 requirement, I looked through rules and I'm not finding anything (...) (22 years ago, 22-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

Re: LEGO Factory Contest: Rules or Suggestions?

(...) Excellent question, I'd also like to see what the deal is. I also still have some concerns from the first few days of voting... this entry received more than 200 votes when the image was garbled. Halfway through the week the image was fixed, (...)   to LEGO factory : You are not being fair.

Dear LEGO Factory... I couldn't find any contact info on the LEGO factory web site, so I am posting this message here. Week 1's winner? You have pronounced the "Senior winner" of the contest's first week, yet this person has clearly cheated, as well (...) (22 years ago, 22-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego, FTX) !!

Re: Appreciating what TLG and Lego Direct have done for AFOL's

(...) Your absolutely right, I've noticed this, it hasn't become a problem yet, but I haven't been building much lately. These small parts will really stand out if they're the wrong colour. Lego should only mould these invaluable parts in neutral (...) (22 years ago, 22-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego)

Re: Behind the curtains - LEGO Factory AFOL Project Team

(...) What do you mean? I don't understand. 8^) (...) Hey, I'm fine with his age, but I think that TLG is missing an opportunity here. Sure, it's nice that AFOLs have contributed to this project, but if he can legitmately assert that teens/children (...) (22 years ago, 22-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

  Re: Universal Color List...finally

(...) Good question. (snip) Here's a good example of colors in a 2005 set that are not mentioned in the above list... (URL) Purple ! Go Lime ! now if only there were a 'pink pod' ;) Ray (22 years ago, 22-Nov-04, to lugnet.color, lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: Appreciating what TLG and Lego Direct have done for AFOL's

(...) And what point is that? The point is only worthwhile if Jake hasn't done anything - and the reality is that he has done something. He's done a lot. (...) No I am not. By TLG interacting, I refer to talking with a few marketing represetatives, (...) (22 years ago, 22-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego)

LEGO Factory Contest: Rules or Suggestions?

I guess TLC is not enforcing the rules of its own contest: (URL) The winner in the Senior category ("Deluxe Building" by GabrielLee) was built on 16 baseplates, as opposed to the 4 specified in the (URL) contest rules>.   Jake, could you please clarify the list? (Was: Re: Universal Color List...finally)

(...) Dear Jake, could you clarify this list? You mentioned some colours that are not on the list of Lego colours at Peeron, so I tried to find the most plausible matches of "your" colours to the Lego-internal list of colour numbers and names.   Re: Appreciating what TLG and Lego Direct have done for AFOL's

(...) Is Jake achieving? Are you joking? Maybe you're just not going to BrickFest, ever reading Jake's posts or interacting with TLG at all - but I'd say Jake isn't just doing something.. Jake is doing A LOT! And by that, I mean >achieving< results, (...) (22 years ago, 22-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego)

  Re: Universal Color List...finally

(...) Personally, I am surprised at some of the entries on the list. First, why is MEDIUM GREEN on the list?? It is not even a very common color.
