  Re: Build the Trust

(...) I'm building (URL) Hall> (Charleston, South Carolina), but I worry about finishing in time. (...) I wondered about this too. Like, what'll be represented.. -Suz (21 years ago, 20-Jul-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Build the Trust

(...) Me either. I was thinking I'd use about 3-5 bricks total, if that, but DID have a scheme for why they would plausibly appear in the model, somewhere. (...) I'm not saying, but it's not P. Hope that helps. (it's really not too hard to guess but (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jul-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)

  Re: Build the Trust

(...) I am not building the Robie house either, but I am also building something in Illinois. I hope we're not building the same thing. I don't expect to use too many of the gold bricks, though. What's the first letter of the town/village you're (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jul-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)

  Re: Build the Trust

(...) I am not building the Robie House. I had thought about a FLW based entry since I'm a big fan (I think I put my Taliesin West pics up on Maj, I forget) but decided to build something else that I could more easily tie into the gold bricks... I'm (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jul-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)

  Build the Trust

I am building the Robie House.. is anybody else? It would be weird to have multiple renditions of the same thing when there are so many other good ideas on or off the site list. I visited the Robie House twice last winter so I got kind of excited (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jul-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)

Re: Gold in them thar hills!

(...) Don't send too many at a time...I am the intern who gets to mail them all out to you guys. :) It is a prett good little deal. -Brett (21 years ago, 20-Jul-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: Gold in them thar hills!

(...) It is interesting to note the irony here.... Brickfest, TLG and The National Trust are celebrating the 50 years of THE TOWN PLAN (Lego System of Play). And the building contest is for building in the Miniland, Minifig, and Micro Scales. But (...) (21 years ago, 19-Jul-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Gold in them thar hills!

Once again, my colleagues have asked me to pass along some info about the National Trust for Historic Preservation contest at BrickFest: There’s still some gold in these thar hills!!!   2005 Lego Store Locations?

Hi Jake - I was really happy when you (URL) announced> the new Lego stores in the USA for 2004 - and was wondering if you could let us know the locations for the 2005 stores. There is a hint here and there of new store locations so I was wondering (...) (21 years ago, 12-Jul-05, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

  Re: New LEGO Stores!

(...) Hey David, living in an eastern suburb of Detroit, I feel your pain! With 10 million in the state of Michigan plus another 10 million in each Ohio and Ontario, and no Lego store, we all feel your pain! But I think the clustering of stores has (...)   Re: New LEGO Stores!

(...) I do. I'm about 2-3 hours away from Portland, waaaay up in Ellsworth. (Thats about 15 minutes away from Bar Harbor) So yeah, I'd be great if there was a Lego shop in Bar Harbor or Bangor/Brewer. (21 years ago, 8-Jul-05, to lugnet.lego)

  Re: New LEGO Stores!

(...) Plus, there's now a store in Natick, MA which is sort of inbetween and slightly south of Solomon Pond and Burlington. A bit of a trek from Maine (probably 2+ hours unless you live far south like in Kittery), but potentially worth a visit. (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jul-05, to lugnet.lego)

  Re: New LEGO Stores!

(...) Not the same Portland, but Oregon's getting its first LEGO store at Washington Square in Beaverton, just west of Portland (PDX). Construction sign's up and everything. Should open in September. Bye bye, what little expendable cash I ever (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jul-05, to lugnet.lego)

  Re: New LEGO Stores!

Re: Introducing the LEGO Affiliate Program

(...) I think this is a /great/ idea! If I'm understanding this right, it allows fans to give back to the community and the company thats given them so much. This IMHO buys Lego a lot of PR currency. Good work! (21 years ago, 8-Jul-05, to lugnet.lego)
