  Mr. Justus!

Apparently Shop at home is working well at USA. I’ve already ordered from there, and it was a pleasant experience. You promised the same (or similar) service would be availible for Europe soon. Unfortunately, you forgot to tell us LEGO has hired a (...) (26 years ago, 18-Sep-00, to lugnet.lego)

Re: Important additions to my last posting!

(...) I think that is great that a manager called you on this. I have some thoughts and questions on this. Did she say specifically that she called you because of your postings on the Web? It is possible that the managers/trainers are actively (...) (26 years ago, 18-Sep-00, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.dear-lego)

Susan's daughter, perhaps;-) All seriousness aside, thanks for sharing, Christian-- I think that is a great example of how things are going to be different from now on IMO.   Re: Mr. Justus!

(...) This would be nice, but it seems like LEGO doesn't want to have the same range of products in every country. (...) I'm sure they'll do that at some point. It takes some time to print catalogs. (...) If they do make printed catalogs, they'll (...) (26 years ago, 18-Sep-00, to lugnet.lego)

  Re: Mr. Justus!

Tim, I'm fully aware that shopping online doesn't necessarily mean low prices. Especially not in case of LEGO. But: I can get almost EVERYTHING (except for the bulk items, of course) at local stores, at the same price, sometimes cheaper than at (...) (26 years ago, 18-Sep-00, to lugnet.lego)

Re: Important additions to my last posting!

Hi Ben, the entire story has been pretty easy, so here's a short version that may hopefully answer all your questions: I called LEGO S@H early this morning and I was very excited about how it works. I couldn't wait to place my first order. However, (...) (26 years ago, 18-Sep-00, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.dear-lego)

Hey Frank, I've been one of the most optimistic ones among all. I didn't like all these negative tones either, since I was too happy about each and ervery small step forward that Brad Justus announced. I kept believing that everything will be (...)   Re: Important additions to my last posting!

(...) Cool! I think this is one of the most positive messages we have seen from TLC that they really do want to reach out to us. I'd almost hazard that this is more positive than Brad's involvement here. To those that feel that TLC "just doesn't get (...) (26 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Mr. Justus!

(...) There are MANY reasons for S@H to not undercut retail merchants. The world is not yet ready for retail merchants to be replaced completely by on-line ordering direct from the manufacturer. In the US, I can get 90% or more of what is in the (...) (26 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.lego)

  Re: Mr. Justus!

(...) Well, if that really is the case, you folks in some ways have it better than we do in the US. Very few stores even carry the full line of what is typically sold in the stores, and there are bunches of things like train track (which apparently (...) (...) Nope, only that the UK should be described as the UK (it is now) not "England" as it was a few days ago.
