I took one step backwards when the drill sgt. asked for volunteers! =)
I can probably do the “BIs for web” but I have no experince with “BIs for
printing”. However, right now I got a backlog of 4 LDraw tutorials that need
to get edited, and I got 15+ ldraw tutorials to upload and format for the new
LDraw.org site.
I’ve just been given adm rights on the LDraw.org server to begin to
update/redo/mess with the Help Section of LDraw. =)
So I got a load of work on
that end. =(
Plus I’m working with someone on a “special” BI project that we think we BLOW
EVERYONE’S MIND once we get it done. We’ve been working on it for 2 months now
and got another 4 months before it’s done (hopefully). Think “interaction”...
(That is all I am saying for now) =)
So while I would love to write the article I just don’t have the time right now.
But give me a few months and I can do it unless someone else wants to take a
stab at it.
A quick outline for it could be:
BIs for the Internet
1. Different formats for web BIs
2. Pros and Cons of each format
- File size vs User connection (dial-up, broadband)
- Viewing of (online, download)
- Protablilty (printing, moving on floppy, etc)
- Screen resolution on a monitor
3. An example of Web BIs using (FLash, HTM, PDF)???
Comments, suggestions, does anyone want to help me out as it looks like Drill
