I agree, Allan. It is kind of interesting to ponder, especially if you compare these sets to the the ones, say, twenty years ago. The "bar" for kids was higher then. (...) Personally, I'm not so much put out by the color as the design. As a MOC builder, sure, I'd like to see the "regular" colors, but I recognize the value in some irregular colors.
