Re: First True Harry Potter Pics! —Julie Krenz
I think I spot a rat...a Lego rat? mouse? In both #4722 (at his feet, under the red suitcase) & #4723 (on the mantle). It's dark grey and has a different tail then the kitten, unless this is a new kitten? There is a picture of a rat in a cage in the (...)      (...) Yeah, that's prolly Scabbers, Ron's pet rat. (sorry if I'm misspelling the names, I read the HP series mostly in Hebrew.) -Shiri (23 years ago, 28-Jun-01, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.castle)

(...) it's certainly scabbers! but the cat in 4723 should be orange tho', being it's crookshanks. and there should be a grey cat for mrs. norris. oh, and the bed julie mentioned would be a canopied four poster! i like these sets! i can't believe (...)       (...) I agree for the most part (not sure about it being better than Knight's Kingdom, but it is definitely better in some ways). I think the sets are excellent for what most of us buy sets for in the first place: parts. It is superb in that (...) (23 years ago, 28-Jun-01, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.castle)

(...) Yeah. I don't give a hoot about Harry Potter -- haven't read the books yet, and I may never do so. But this may be an advantage as when I look at the HP sets I have no expectations that can be disappointed. The sets don't appeal very much in (...)       In lugnet.harrypotter, Richard Marchetti writes: <snip> (...) <snip> I'm not thrilled about plastic and cardboard backdrop stuff either - hopefully we're not going to be paying much for it. The pointy roof things however appear to fold inward (look (...) (23 years ago, 29-Jun-01, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.castle)

(...) different (...) rat (...) Thanks for the insight, my resident HP fan is at day camp all week, can't wait to show him these. Julie (23 years ago, 28-Jun-01, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.castle)

Re: First True Harry Potter Pics! —Shiri Dori
(...) Waitasecond though, Crookshanks didn't appear til the third book. I thought the sets were based on the movie -> based on the first book. So it wouldn't make sense to have the orange cat in Hermione's room! (it's not there, is it?) (...) Over (...) (23 years ago, 28-Jun-01, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.castle)

(...) There are actually a bunch of rats. One in 4705 (behind the table), two in 4709 (one gray, one white), one gray one in 4722, and one dark gray one in 4723. :) (...) Looks like "curtains" on a canopy bed... Jeff (23 years ago, 28-Jun-01, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.castle)
