  Re: Saw the movie today!

(...) Plus it had a new LOTR trailer, in which everything was even closer to how I imagined it than HP was!!! I loved HP&TPS. Despite it being a 2.5 hour film all the kids in the cinema were rapt throughout, there is little greater praise. Just one (...) (23 years ago, 12-Nov-01, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.harrypotter)

  Re: Harry Potter sets' pricing

You'll find they are much cheaper in the USA. For example in England the sets sell for the follow prices: Hogwart's Castle £79.99 (nearly $120) Hogwart's Express £39.99 (nearly $60) Hagrid's Hut £24.99 (over $35) The difference in price in the (...)   Re: Harry Potter sets' pricing

(...) Thank you, Ken. It was just as I thought: my local TRU is trying to rip me off... :-( (I did not know, but the EUR symbol isn't accepted yet in this newsgroup - hence, the "?" before the "35". Sorry 'bout this) Pedro (...) (23 years ago, 11-Nov-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

  Harry Potter sets' pricing

Hi, Potter fans! I have been trying to find reference for Harry Potter sets' pricing, but I was unable to find any. Can someone give me some assistance in this search? I mainly need the retail price of the sets (cheapest seen, and average) in Europe (...) (23 years ago, 11-Nov-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

  This is ridiculous

Does anyone reazlize that this stupid arguement over the use of Trading and Selling in other groups is ridiculous? Because all thsese reply's have spawned into a void of nothingness. Let's just froget the whole darn thing every happen. Let's act (...) (23 years ago, 10-Nov-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

  Saw the movie today!

I'm glad to say it does live up to all the hype. Everything shown is exactly as I imagined it to be, having read the books. My only reservation is that, understandably, the story has been abbreviated, so consequently some of the characters or scenes (...) (23 years ago, 10-Nov-01, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.harrypotter)

  The Three New Sets

Hello - I uploaded three new pics of the upcoming sets into the FBTB II set guide last night. Tim (URL) (23 years ago, 10-Nov-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

Re: Wanted of Harry Potter (Clueless!)

(...) Could someone please point out the item in the TOS which prohibits non-auction buy/sell/trade posts out of non-market groups? As far as I'm concerned, currently, such posts are allowed. Todd had posted many times that such is allowed, though (...) (23 years ago, 9-Nov-01, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.admin.terms)

  Re: Hagrid's Roof

  Re: Hagrid's Roof

(...) I've seen one alternative roof. There is a thread about it a couple of weeks back in this newsgroup. Here is a link to some pics of it. (URL) (23 years ago, 9-Nov-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

  Wanted of Harry Potter

Let me just say that before this is posted I WANTED this to be posted here to get to HARRY POTTER LEGO owners. Before someone jumps down my throat again. Hi Guys and Girls! I need Harry Potter Owls, Grey, Black, White, Beige, and Light Grey. I need (...) (23 years ago, 9-Nov-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

  Re: Hagrid's Roof

(...) Has anyone worked on a "real brick" replacement for the folded cloth roof? If so, share, share. (23 years ago, 8-Nov-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

  Re: Hagrid's Roof

(...) Hi Steve, In my second set was an extra instruction inlet (in black&white), but it just shows that you'll have to pre-fold with sharp folds before you mount it on the house. Mine worked all-right, and I still think the hut with roof looks just (...) (23 years ago, 6-Nov-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

  Re: Hagrid's Roof

(...) I know a lot of people don't like the roof but mine works OK. Just put a real good crease on all the folds. Trying to fold it without "pre-creasing" each fold is near impossible. Eric (23 years ago, 6-Nov-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

  Hagrid's Roof

Hi all, I just picked up Hagrid's Hut, but can't seem to figure out how to make the silly roof work. Is there some kind of trick to it? Or does anyone have any tips you can offer? Thanks Steve (23 years ago, 6-Nov-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

Ewoks, Yoda, Lobot pics at FBTB!

Ah, tis’ good to see the plague has spread to other themes. ;) Now the carnage will no longer be segregated to .harrypotter! Honestly though, I do believe that this ‘inside-joke’ solely involves the three of us! And perhaps Larry… It’s nice to know (...) (23 years ago, 6-Nov-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.harrypotter)
