Another interesting thing about the letter bricks is that there were
different
sets for different countries. The set available in Sweden in 1971 was
different from that available in Germany. Does anyone know how many
different letter sets for different languages there were? Were there
any
in Cyrillic (e.g., Russian) or for other Eastern European languages?
How about for Asian languages? (I would guess not.)

| (...) I have the German Alphabet (includes ä,ö,ü, but not ß), and the Samsonite USA Alphabet. There is also a Danish and Swedish set. I was wondering about the existence of a French Alphabet set (with é,â,ä,à,ç,ê,ë,è,ï,ô,ö,ò,û). Or even a Spanish (...) (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

From what I remember about a 6 part PBS (USA public television channel) series called "Legacy" with Michael Wood (...) (25 years ago, 4-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)
