I'm not really sure if this is the appropriate group... None of the off-topic
subgroups really fit, and I can't seem to post one to just plain
lugnet.off-topic with the web interface...
Anyway, someone just emailed me this site-- Apparently for every time a the
button on the main page is hit, the sponsoring companies donate money to
feeding needy people. No forms or anything to fill out, just a button to click.
Supposedly 'each computer' will only be allowed one button press per day (I
assume they're going by IP address since it didn't give me a cookie...)

| (...) click. (...) I had the same thing entered into the guest book on my website some time ago. I haven't removed it yet, but feel that I've been violated by a spam. Has anyone else been hit by this website? And could this be a result of farming (...) (25 years ago, 30-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

Although it doesn't really fit the "fun" in .off-topic.fun, it does fit .off-topic.fun far more than it fits lugnet.general (which is for general LEGO-related topics). .off-topic.geek or .publish would probably work (...) (25 years ago, 30-Sep-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.general)
