Hmmmm - that looks a good value set. And in that picture Jason

are those old-style wheels with the four studs on them - but in
white instead of red - that I can see at the top of the picture?

It has 12 white wheels and 2 yellow ones, and they do have the 4 studs on them.

Other pieces of interest I see:  it has 4 minifigs (1 Timmy, eek!), 2 old style
yellow house doors, 6 blue window frames, 12 green shutters, 12 yellow
window frame pane things (those things that go in the window a bit more, just a
bit smaller than the shutters), and 1 2x2x1 clear slope brick.

The interesting question is - now that that baseplate is available
in another set, and arguably in a nicer shade of green than in the
Poolside Paradisa, is the auction value of Poolside Paradisa going to fall...
(OK I know it was available before in that adventurers set, but tan
is hardly a colour that you could use in towns)

Yeah, I was also thinking about how this is a much better color than the
Poolside set.  This baseplate would fit right in with a normal town layout now,
perhaps even castle.

btw what is this 4293 - is it a new set that's just become generally
available in the US?

Here is the Pause entry with the data and picture I sent in:
http://www.lugnet.com/pause/search/?query=4293

There was also a Classic bucket with 400 pieces for $9.99 with many of the same
parts (but no baseplate), which might be a better deal if you aren't
specifically after the baseplate (since 4293 was $29.99 for 801 pieces).

(...) I don't think this set will have too much effect on the price of 6416 Poolside Paradise for the following reasons: + the 4293 baseplate has a dirt driveway, more suitable for a rural area + the 6416 baseplate has a blue lined pool, the 4293 (...) (25 years ago, 7-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)
